These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of theraterebel.com and related services (the "Service"), operated by The Etcetera Companies LLC, doing business as RateRebel ("RateRebel," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What RateRebel is — and isn't

RateRebel is a free advertising and matching service that connects consumers with third-party insurance carriers, agents, and marketing partners. We are not an insurance company, agent, or broker. We do not sell insurance, provide quotes, set rates, or make coverage or underwriting decisions. Any insurance policy is solely between you and the insurer, on their terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and your own.

3. Your consent to be contacted

By submitting your information and agreeing to our consent language, you authorize RateRebel and its insurance and marketing partners to contact you about insurance and related offers — including by automatic telephone dialing system, prerecorded or artificial voice, and text message — at the phone number you provide, even if that number is on a state or federal Do-Not-Call list. This consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may revoke consent at any time (reply STOP to texts, tell a caller to stop, or contact us). Message and data rates may apply.

4. Accurate information

You agree to provide true, current, and complete information and to use the Service only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not submit another person's information without authorization, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the Service's operation or security, or use the Service to harvest data.

5. No guarantees

We do not guarantee that any insurer or partner will contact you, or that you will be offered or qualify for any particular rate, savings, coverage, discount, or policy. Any statistics or examples on the Service describe the market generally, not your individual result. Submitting the form is not an application for insurance.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including the RateRebel name, logo, text, and design, is owned by or licensed to The Etcetera Companies LLC and protected by law. "RateRebel" is a trade name of The Etcetera Companies LLC. You may view the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute it without our prior written consent.

7. Third-party services

The Service may link to or transmit your information to third parties, including insurers, agents, and marketing partners. We do not control and are not responsible for third parties' products, services, content, or practices. Your dealings with them are solely between you and them, governed by their terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any insurer will contact you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Etcetera Companies LLC and its members, officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from or related to your use of the service or your dealings with any third-party insurer or partner, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Etcetera Companies LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version, and your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
